Robert Jonas, founder and president of Strategy International, Inc., was just published in the 2000 Handbook of Business Strategy and will also soon appear in the Journal of Business Strategy. His article, "The Real Meaning of Strategy", probes the different types of business strategies and the ways in which each type is most effective in a given situation.

"Strategy has become a catch-all term and its meaning diluted. Strategy is not a mission—it is how you enact that mission to reach your goals. Real strategists make visions reality through a systematic collaboration of knowledge and strategy", comments Mr. Jonas.
